What do you do with €5.00 for dinner?
Ali Baba’s Turkish Restaurant
for a döner!

What about €10.00?
The Hofbräukeller
, which has specials for €5.55. It’s an awesome beer hall and garden.

Who has the happiest happy hour?
Every hour is happy hour for me at the Insomniac Bar (Herrnstr. 11).

How much is too much to spend on transportation?
€5 per day is the max. If you’re traveling with two to five people, the ticket is only €9 for up to five people, all day until 6:00 am the next day.

What are your top three free thrills?
The Asamkirche
(most beaufiul roccoco church in town), the Hofbräuhaus (yes, it’s a restaurant, but AT LEAST walk through it after 6:00 pm–also go upstairs and take a peek at the fest hall), and the New Town Hall with its glockenspiel (dating from 1867-1908…it’s not the oldest thing around, but very photogenic).

My one big indulgence is…
In a word: beer.

If I had all the money in the world, I’d buy…
As in a souvenir? I have them all. The first thing that popped into my head was an apartment in the Alter Hof, the first royal palace of Munich, apartments there cost €800,000+.
Ed Note: That’s still cheaper than apartments at the Plaza, even with the unvaforable exchange rate; sounds like a bargain to us.
